Dr. Robert Hall

Dr. Hall grew up in Winchester, VA, where he graduated from Handley High School in 1975. He attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA and graduated in 1979 with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Hall then attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. in 1984. He then returned to Winchester to establish his dental practice.

Dr. Hall is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentists. He is a fellow in the Virginia Dental Association, a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and a fellow in the American College of Dentists. Dr. Hall also serves on the Virginia Board of Dentistry.

Dr. Hall volunteers as a Paramedic/Firefighter for Millwood Station VFRS, where he is a life member. He is a member of the Winchester Rotary Club, where he is a Paul Harris Fellow. He also teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Medical Life Support, and Paramedic courses.

Dr. Hall has served in the Air National Guard for over 22 years, where he is the Chief of Dental Services at the 167 MDG in Martinsburg, WV. As a member of the ANG, he has traveled all over the world.

Dr. Hall is married to Marjorie Combs Hall. They have two children, Amy and Stuart. Amy is a family counselor practicing in Winston-Salem, NC., and Stuart is a student at WVU, where he is majoring in Business.

Dr. Hall enjoys water sports including water skiing and wake boarding. He also enjoys sporting clays and snow skiing.

Dr. Terry Butterfield

Dr. Terry Butterfield moved from Wisconsin to Stephens City, VA in 1988. He attended R.E Aylor Middle School and then James Wood High for 3 years. He is a member of the first graduating class at Sherando in 1994. After serving a 2 year church mission in Utah, Dr. Butterfield attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 2000 with a B.S. in Biology. From 2000 to 2004, Richmond was home as he attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry. Soon after graduation from VCU, he joined Dr. Robert Hall’s already established practice in Winchester, VA. Dr. Butterfield is married and has four children, 3 boys and a girl. Anne McCarthy Butterfield, his wife, is an amazing support to both him and their kids.

Dr. Butterfield is active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and spends time there in various services. In the spring and summer, he has helped coach several Winchester baseball teams that his children have played on. He is a big sports fan (Go Cougs, Bears, Sox, and Celts!) as well.

Dr. Butterfield volunteers on some Thursday nights at the “Free Clinic” in downtown Winchester extracting teeth. He also offers his services several times a month at Westminster-Canterbury. He loves what he does and truly feels blessed to be a part of this great and exciting career.

Dr. Butterfield is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Virginia Dental Association (VDA).
